Private family services for William C. Rogers, 56, Eudora, will be held at a later date.  He died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

William was born on July 5, 1956, in Houston, TX the son of William Lee Rogers and Beatrice Ferris.

He was a local Union 518 member and worked as a concrete mason for JE Dunn.

Survivors include his mother; Beatrice Wolff, Bonner Springs, KS; three sons, Jimmy Rogers (Shawndra), Eudora; William Lee Rogers (Jennifer), Gardner, KS; Jeremy Rogers, Linwood, KS; two sisters, Billie Rayl, Bonner Springs, KS; Terry Mitchner, Bonner Springs, KS; one brother, Charles Edward Rogers, Bonner Springs, KS; four grandchildren, Monti, RaeAnne, Micah and Jai Lynn.  There is a fifth grandchild due soon.

    WE ALL ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT BILL, HE SURE WAS A GREAT CARING MAN. ONE OF A KIND ALMOST. HE WILL BE DESEPERATELY MISSED BY EVERYBODY WHO KNEW HIM.     My heart goes out to the entire family, I am so sorry for your loss! I know that Jeremy and I, weren’t together for that long, but the short time that I got to get to know Bill was awesome! We definately made a whole lot of great memories, that I will be able to carry with me forever, as he did with everyone that came to know and love him! I Love You Jeremy, and I send my love especially to those who I knew the most Grandma Bea, Uncle Ed, Terry Ann, Brian, Lisa, Connie! I am here for you all, if you ever need anything!
