Serving Eudora Families Since 1904
Warren-McElwain’s Eudora location opened its doors to families in 1904 doing business as Schubert Funeral Home. While many other funeral homes around the country have been bought out by larger corporations and conglomerates, we are proud to continue the tradition of a family-owned and operated business today.
We feel that by remaining true to our roots and traditional values while also offering the latest industry trends and technologies, we can offer you high-quality services with a personal touch at an affordable price. Being a part of a local community helps us best serve the needs of families at both our Eudora and Lawrence locations.
In Eudora, parking is available both in the front and back of our facility. We are located east of Eudora Elementary School.
At our funeral home, we have various rooms and facilities designed to accommodate your needs:
- Chapel: Our chapel provides a peaceful and serene environment for funeral and memorial services.
- Meeting Rooms: We offer two dedicated meeting rooms for families to gather and make arrangements for both burials and cremations.
- Coffee Bar and Refreshment Area: We have a cozy coffee bar and refreshment area where you can gather with friends and family for moments of reflection and support.
At Warren-McElwain, we believe “Every Life Deserves a Celebration”
We can create a customized final farewell to fit your budget and needs that best reflects the personality and celebrates the life of your loved one. Whether it is a traditional funeral with visitation and burial or cremation, we will make sure every detail is just the way you want it. We even have several different transportation choices that can help transport your loved one to their final resting place.
We owe a debt of gratitude for our freedom to our nation’s veterans, so we are happy to arrange special veteran’s services. We can help make the arrangements for special honors to have a full funeral with viewing before the cremation, or you may choose to have the cremains buried in Lawrence’s all-natural section in Oak Hill Cemetery or we can help you determine local regulations in an area special to your loved one if you wish to scatter the ashes.
There is a growing trend toward preplanning so you may participate in arranging the type of celebration of your life you may want. This also helps relieve the burden on loved ones during an already stressful time. Explore our online arrangements to start the process today.
In addition, we have a full line of merchandise, everything from monuments and urns to keepsake jewelry and tribute videos, if you prefer to see the items in person and have a staff member personally help you with your selections please call (785) 542-3030 for an appointment to visit our Eudora office at 1003 John L.
