Violet “Lucille” Baise

Funeral service for Violet “Lucille” Baise, 73, Eudora will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December, 15, 2015 at Eudora Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Eudora Cemetery. She died December 11, 2015 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born on October 5, 1942 in Holton, KS the daughter of Louis Franklin and Edna Henrettia (McClain) Place.

Lucille was a homemaker. She also worked as an assembler at King Radio. She was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church.

She married Carl Mac Baise on August 29, 1961 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, A. Russell Baise (Mary Beth), Wellsville, Don M. Baise, Lawrence; two daughters, Mary Lynette Baise, Eudora, Carla R. Baise, Topeka; two sisters, Mary Place, Eudora, Paulette Place, Lawrence; brother, James Place, Winchester; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Michaela, Kaycee, Kristen, Matthew, Jordan, Cecelia, Daphne and one great granddaughter, Olivia. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Gene Place, Mina Hundley, Nicholas Place, Charles Place, Norma Collins and Wanola Elaine Place.

The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Eudora Baptist Church or Special Olympics and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
