Dear Bunny, Tom and Pieter, My sincere condolences on the passing of your dear father, grandfather, father-in-law. This photograph of Todd truly captures his essence. Todd was such a kind, caring and gentle man. I so very much enjoyed our conversations over many years – both together with Jeannot as well as after her passing. Todd was in my senior fitness classes for many years at Parks and Rec. I loved that he was always willing to give everything a try with a great attitude. When I started my classes at Brandon Woods at the Smith Center, Todd was in those classes too. I haven’t seen him for some years now but I still have such fond memories of a most lovely man and feel privileged and honored to have known him.
Peace and light to all of you. Peace, Todd.

Dear Bunny, I was sorry to see that Todd had passed on. I think he had had enough of this life with the indignities that age can bring. I always enjoyed seeing Todd in the office. We had a great time talking about books and anything that was interesting at the time. Hopefully there was some medicine sprinkled in there too. Todd was a man that you had to love. Easy going , very intelligent , interested in life and friends. We talked about traveling in times past. Bunny, he thought so much of you. Although a good distance away, he spoke of you like you were next door. You were a good daughter to him. I will and have missed our talks on email and in the office. It was an honor to say that I was his doctor. Todd’ friend and doctor, Jerry Pees
Todd was a wonderful person and a true fundraising mentor to me. I will miss his wisdom and humor greatly. Steve Menaugh and I greatly treasure our monthly lunches with Todd at Nagoya’s over four or five years, until the pandemic shut us down.
Bunny and family, if you need any help at this time, just let me know.
Todd was simply the Best!
Todd was an exceptional fundraiser and executive and an even better human being. His contributions to KU will live in perpetuity. To know Todd was to like him. He was brilliant, kind, caring, funny, humble, insightful and a true humanitarian. He treated everyone with great respect and lived his life in a manner to which we all aspired. The world is a lesser place without Todd in it. We send our sincere condolences to Bunny, Tom and Pieter. R.I.P., Mr. Seymour. – Steve & Karla Menaugh
Todd ,is now with Jeannot and she was well acquainted with me. I can remember visiting with her on campus and she would be on her way to have lunch with Todd.
He was an asset to KU and a powerhouse to Endowment taking it to great heights along with Irvin Youngberg and Olin Petefish. The Endowment Association is in a good place now because of Todd Seymour and his dedication to the building of a sound , financial footing that KU Endowment is in now. To his daughter, you had great parents.
Mr. Seymour was a special person. He hired my Dad at KUEA in the early 70s. My folks had wonderful times with the Seymour’s. Dad and he are swapping tall tales in Heaven. God Bless You Sir. Philip Henry (Mutt and Jeanette’s son)
P.S. He was the last of the KUEA ROMEOs (real old men eating out) 🙂
