Please accept my sincere condolences regarding the loss of your loved one. Occasionally I would run into Tom at the 6th Street Dillon’s store and we would always stop to chat. I enjoyed his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. Godspeed “Little T” Fisher, as my elderly neighbor called Tom as a young boy.
Dear Meg and Friends of Tom-
You are in my thoughts and prayers as you say goodbye to Tom. I didn’t know him, but I love his daughter and she makes this world a brighter place. That is something extraordinary to leave behind in this world.
Warmest,
Dede Lovejoy

Sending sincere condolences the family and thinking of how good Tom was to my husband, Drake Sorey, when Tom and Drake worked together at the Journal World. Thank you, Tom! How many people one life touches.
Rest in peace, Tom.
Sincere condolences to the family. I recall Tom as a friend from our days together at Lawrence H.S., Class of 1961, and in later years when he worked at the Journal-World. Tom was always an entertaining and good-hearted person who could bring out smiles in others. Rest in Peace, Tom.

I have very clear and fond memories of Tom in our high school days. He often sat behind me in class and would crack jokes under the radar and, of course, I would start giggling and get into trouble. He was a very well read, witty, inquisitive person and he will be missed.
R.I.P., Tom
My condolences to the family.
Tom, thank you for counting me among your many friends. Your encyclopedic knowledge of the places and people of Lawrence was beyond compare. How fortunate we are that one of your cigar smoking compatriots had the foresight to record some of your stories. You will be missed.
You were a good man Mr. Fisher. Sorry to see you go. My condolences to family and friends.
