Theresa Jo Peter

Memorial services for Theresa Jo Peter, 57, Lawrence will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Warren-McElwain in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. She passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 in Lawrence.

Theresa was born August 23, 1957 in Tonganoxie, KS the daughter of Charles Easley and Joyce Crenshaw.

She was a Licensed Practicing Nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 20 years prior to working at Brighton Place nursing home in Topeka, KS.

Survivors include her mother, Joyce, Lawrence; daughter, Tracy Cook, Lawrence; son, Troy Cook, Overland Park, KS; five grandchildren, Ollion Hagans, Jasmine Cook, Donovan Cook, Ava Cook, Octavian Hagans; two sisters, Penny Miller, Wendy Miller, both of Lawrence; and two brothers, Rick Miller, Lawrence, and Marvin Gibbs, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Isiaha Hagans.

The family will greet friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20th at the mortuary.

    God brought us and our sons together for such a time as this. That our spirits might meld together when we separate from this world. That we seek the hope that saves our souls and reunites us again in eternity. That we comfort each other through trials. That we have good Times to remember.
