There are no formal services for Suzann Marie Dupere, 60, Lawrence, KS. Suzann passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her home.
Suzann was born on May 4, 1962, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Ronald and Lorraine Melton.
She was a Customer Service Representative for the Veterans Administration in Leavenworth, KS.
Survivors include her daughter, Casey (Herschel) Weishaar, mother, Lorraine Rogers, siblings, Gregory Melton, Brian Melton, Kim Scott, four grandchildren, Bowie, Lyra, Colt, and August.
Suzann was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Melton, and brother, Kurt Melton.
Memorial contributions may be made in Suzann’s name to VNA Hospice of Lawrence and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

Suzie was an amazing woman who would help out at work with anything that was asked of her up until she couldn’t anymore. She is already missed greatly, not only for her work ethic, but for her kindness and compassion. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
I have never met a more dedicated woman than Suzie! She was such a passionate person about her family and work. I enjoyed our talks and I will sure miss you Suzie! No matter what she was going through, she always made sure everyone else was taken care of as well. Heaven has a beautiful soul
