Shirley Ann Williams

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Williams, 77, Eudora will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel in Eudora. Burial will follow at Eudora Cemetery. She passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Shirley was born March 27, 1937 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Arthur B. and Mae (Guinn) Starkey.

She was a homemaker and was employed by Riley Manufacturing in Olathe for three years until she retired in 1990.

She married Carl R. Williams June 24, 1955 in Eudora, KS. He preceded her in death May 10, 1995.

Survivors include three sons, Carl “Mike” Williams, Kenneth and wife, Melba Williams, Christopher “Chris” A. Williams, all of Eudora; one daughter, Debbie “Debra” Maloney, Ottawa, KS; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred McIntosh, Kansas City. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille and Wanda Jean; and one brother, Henry Starkey.

The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2014 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association and may be sent in care of the mortuary.

    Shirley will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful woman and i loved her very much. I know she is with her loved ones and in a better place with no grief or pain and will live happily forever. My family and I will have her and her family in our prayers.
