Memorial service for, Scot James Hamlin, 49, Eudora will be held 10 am Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel.
He was born on August 19, 1960 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin the son of William George and Mary Lou (Van Norman) Hamlin.
He was a 1978 graduate of Eudora High School. He was a local craftsman and master luthier. Hamlin acted as the Superintendent of roads and bridges for Franklin County, but his passion and devotion really fell on his family, the open road and his woodshop.
He married Debi Smith on March 13, 1993 in Eudora. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his parents, wife, three children, their mother, three grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Scot Hamlin Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
The family thanks the community for their love and support.
I was shocked to hear about Scot.My Family’s thoughts and prayers will be with all of you through this difficult time. Scot was a great guy, he will be missed by many.
