Private family services for Roma Jo Montgomery-Quick, 93, Lawrence, will be held at a later date. Roma passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at her home.
Roma was born on October 21, 1930, in Lone Wolf, OK, the daughter of Louis and Nina (Morgan) Montgomery.
She attended Hutchinson Junior College in Hutchinson, KS.
She was a Clerk for SBC until she retired in November of 1986.
She married William B. Quick, Jr. on February 2, 1948, in Yuma, AZ. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Leslie (Paul) Huffer, three sons, Dennis L. (Joyce) Quick, David L. (Sherri) Quick, Darren L. (Jami) Quick, two sisters, Janet Hayes and Cheryl Carranco, ten grandchildren, Branda Snyder, Christine McPherson, Shawna Thompson, Sean Quick, Sherri Quick, Colin Quick, Kevin Quick, Amanda Salazar, Emily Quick, Jason Quick, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.
Roma was also preceded in death by her brother, Frank Hayes, and two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Sorry for your loss. I enjoyed helping Jo with her vehicle needs.
