Robert Leon Durr

Graveside services for Robert Leon Durr, 93, Eudora will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Eudora Cemetery in Eudora, KS.  He died December 14, 2023, at Medicalodges in Eudora.

Robert was born November 28, 1930, in Eudora, Kansas, the son of Leon and Lois (Fuchs) Durr.

He served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War.

He worked for Phillips 66 as a District Sales Manager for several years, he later worked for the Farmers Coop in Lawrence until he retired.

He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Eudora.  He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed golfing, bowling and football.  He had a passion for old military rifles.

He married Virginia Brecheisen August 11, 1951, in Folkston, Georgia.  She survives of the home. 

He is also survived by his son, Brent Durr. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Brenda Durr.

    We are so sorry for your loss. Bob was quite a character! Kevin enjoyed all of his fishing outings with Durr and of course I enjoyed working with Bob at Co-op!
