Renee Hall

A Celebration of Life for Renée Hall, 75, Lawrence will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Econo Lodge in the Jayhawk Room 2222 W. 6th St..  Inurnment will take place at a later date at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Kansas.  She died February 20, 2010 at her home. 

She was born on July 26, 1934 in Waverly, Kansas the daughter of Harold Glen and Evelyn LaVella Keith LaRue. 

Renée was a waitress winning several waitress of the year awards.  She was well liked and a very respected server.  Her work places included Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn and Econo Lodge.  

Survivors include one daughter, Georgia Lynn Ritchey, Los Angeles, California; one son, Robert Greg Hall, Lawrence; 3 grandchildren, Brady Bullinger, Eugene, Oregon, Dustin Ritchey, Los Angeles, California, Robert Lee Hall, Lawrence; one great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Bullinger; three brothers, Robert Keith LaRue, Lantana, Florida, Jack LaRue, Lawrence, Glen Eugene LaRue, Lake Worth, Florida; three sisters, Joan Herschell, Perry, Violet Anderson, Perry, Glenda Sue Breese, Lawrence; 28 nieces and nephews and 64 great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lila Liggett. 

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Renée Hall Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.

The family will greet friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary
