There are no formal services scheduled for Ramona J. Evans, 98, Lawrence, KS. Ramona passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Medicalodges Eudora.
Ramona was born on June 16, 1924, in Artas, SD, the daughter of Martin G. and Lydia (Schmidt) Reimer.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen LaBonte, three grandchildren, Brian and Brad LaBonte Evan Zilliox. Five great-grandchildren, Weston and Charles LaBonte, Kelly Johnson, Gavin and Beverly Zilliox
Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Evans, daughter, Beverly Zilliox , brothers Clarence and Lester Reimer, and sister Arlene Jones.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ramona’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
Ramona was an amazing and funny lady. She had beautiful curly hair and was so loved by her family. Ramona, use your pilot wings and fly high.
