Peter Njoroge

Graveside services for Peter M. Njoroge, 42, Olathe, KS, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at East View Cemetery in Big Springs, KS. Mr. Njoroge died February 9, 2011 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS.

He was born December 14, 1968 in Nakuru, Kenya, the son of Francis and Grace (Wangui) Njoroge .

He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Grace Gardens in Leawood, KS and worked part-time at Sunrise of Overland Park, Overland Park, KS.                        .
 
Mr. Njoroge married Tina Boose on September 9, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV.  She survives of the home.

Other survivors include; two daughters, Qurauye Njoroge, Olathe, KS and Katie McAllister, Hutchinson, KS; one son, Christopher Njoroge, Olathe, KS; his parents survive of Nyahururu, Kenya; five brothers; and three sisters.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and he will lie in state Tuesday from 9-12 noon at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials in his name to Peter Njoroge Children’s Fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    Im still shocked…. JUst found out it’s the one peter I know. Fare well Peter. Tina, you know where to find us. If you need an ear to give u a listen, a shoulder to give u a resting place, a hand to hold you up when you are weak, you know where to find us, sawa? God’s grace and mercy to all the loved ones that you left behind Njoro but it’s only for a while; It won’t be long, and you will reunite in love and glory again, this time for all eternity.

    It is sad that we have lost you and we would always miss you. But i know you went a better place that the father have been preparing for you. He is the one who gives and take away. may your soul rest in peace and one day we will join you.
