Pat was one of the kindest, most personable.hard-working, and courageous women I’ve ever known. She was in s constant pain, but didn’t let it slow her or keep her down. I’ll miss seeing her on almost a daily basis. I know God blesses her.

I met Patty over 25 years ago when she came into the bank I worked at. We would all visit with her and for some reason she took a liking to me and would bring me little gifts everytime she came in–I had quite a collection in my desk. God gave Patty challenges in this life-but she bore them gracefully. I have not seen her for many years, as I left my job at the bank, but I will always remember her and and her gifts, especially a little glass swan. God bless Patty and her family.

Pat was never one to complain, but she would often confide in me or use me as a sounding board when things were bothering her. It meant a lot to me that she respected me that much.

Even more I loved he onery side as she always had something to teast you about or would tell tell you she was just “being funny.” And she was!!

But she always had something to make you laugh or a small trinket for those she cared about. She often slipped them in my purse during the van ride to work.

A number of times she gave me the new gold coins telling me I had an angel in my pocket. I sent one with her so she will always have an angel in HER pocket and I’ll treasure the other one I kept forever.

And tonight at the visitation, a picture of us and the Jayhawk mug I had given her for her birthday were on display…. I was so touched to have had the chance to know her and be blessed by her kindness and laughter!

Go in peace Patty and enjoy a life of no pain or worries. You will be DEEPLY missed!!!

    Lots of love, Michelle
