A Celebration of Life Service for Oliver Jobe, Tulsa, OK, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel in Eudora. A toast to honor Oliver Jobe will immediately follow at D-Dubs, 10 W. 9th Street in Eudora. Oliver passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from a stroke at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.
Oliver was born on January 12th, 2000 the son of the late Bryan Jobe and Bobbi Jobe.
Oliver moved to Eudora, KS. in 2002. He grew up attending The Eudora Baptist Church. Oliver attended Eudora Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade and graduated in 2018. He was passionate about his work as a 911 dispatcher in Drumright, Oklahoma. Oliver also enjoyed providing tutoring and childcare to his friend’s children when needed.
Oliver was well known for always having a quick wit, providing demonstrations of comedic relief as well as his love for friends and family. Oliver was a best friend to many.
Oliver gave in death as he gave in life. He was a registered organ and tissue donor and donated his lungs, liver, and kidneys.
Survivors include his mother, Bobbi Jobe; brother, Dakota Jobe, Fort Scott, KS., sister, Anika Jobe, Eudora, KS., maternal grandparents, Rick and Linda Hanson, Merriam, KS., paternal grandparents, Jerry and Dottie Jobe, Lake City, FL. A special thanks to The Oehlert Family for considering Oliver as one of their own.
The family suggests memorials in Oliver’s name for a headstone and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
