Michelle Renee Moore

Michelle Renee Moore, 54, passed away on June 5, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time. She has spent the last ten years in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area living with her boyfriend Christopher Girkin. She worked for various companies as accounts receivable. Her large personality and unending compassion will be remembered and missed by all. She loved her grandchildren above all else and took her role as “Geema” very seriously. She is survived by her mother Grace Laymon, her dad Robert Laymon, her four siblings, her daughters, Samantha Moore-Schwermann and Kimberly Moore-Beets, as well as her grandchildren Aidric Schwermann, Arya Schwermann, and baby Beets. Services for Michelle will be held June 27th at 1pm in Lawrence, KS at Warren-McElwain Mortuary located at 120 W 13th Street Lawrence, KS 66044. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions toward her memorial be given instead.

    i consider Michelle one of my grandaughters. She and Chris were together for 12 years. Michelle was good for him and he for her. I am glad that she came into my life. Although I was not around her that many times, she called me grandma. God Bless her family – remember the Happy Times. Grandma Jeanette
