A Visitation for Michael Gene Martin, 67, Ozark, AR formerly of Lawrence, will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Michael passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Ozark Nursing Home in Ozark, AR.
Michael was born May 10, 1952 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Jack Gene and Mary Louise (Morris) Martin.
He was a truck driver for Werner Trucking and Conway Freight and then worked for Berry Plastics until he retired in 2013.
Michael loved to fish and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He was married to Sherri L. Arvizie, Debbie Rhodes and Betty Froese.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Martin; son, Nolin Martin, both of California; two step children, Shawn Muller, Spencer, OK, Beth Anne Horney, Berryton, KS; and sister, Kathy Edgerton, Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Martin and brothers, Fred Martin and Eddie Martin.

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. As you very well know as “east side kids”, we all grow up and scatter all over the country, and lose touch of each other but we still
think of all the good times we had growing up.
Sorry I won’t be able to attend the visitation. but will be thinking of you and your family.
