Prayers for all of us left with his memories. Knew Matt for a short time through his attendance at Chapel Oaks SDA church. Many loved him and admired him. There was an informative story of his brief time with us during our church service. I am so glad he knew Jesus. We will meet again in heaven. Blessings and love to all.

I am so sorry to hear of Matt’s passing. I had the privilege of teaching Matt at Free State High School and I will always remember his quiet courage and grace. He had to miss a lot of school that year, but he was so persistent about staying on track with the class. I wrote a short story for Matt to take home to practice the differences between the preterite and the imperfect. Every year, since then, when I pull it out, I think about him.

    David and Ann,

I am sorry to hear the loss of your son Matt.

Angelina was born the same year as Matt.
I lost my daughter, Sabrina two years ago last November.
Believe me, I know how you feel.
We lost Sabrina from CVS (Civalic Vomiting Sydrome)

Like you, I spent many days than I care to remember in the emergency room. Unfortunatley, there is no no cure for CVS.

So, I am familiar with your pain. It made it easier when Sabrina died because she is no longer sick, and is in a better place.

I will not lie, it does not become better as time goes by, but it does become bearable.

May God be with Matt, and his family!

Please accept my sincere condolences. The Bible gives us comfort and hope found in Revelation 21:3&4. Please take a moment of your time to read these two scriptures.
