I remember Mary as a young woman, dating Jim, and hanging out with Kathy. She was beautiful and sparkling then, as she was every time I was in her presence. Always interested in others and overflowing with spirit – strong and compassionate.
Treasure the memories of your mother/grandmother/and friend. You have been blessed.

I was saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. I worked with Mary at Dougles County VNA for serveral years and she was always a pure delight to be around. She always greeted everyone with her wonderful smile and never seemed to get upset by anything or anyone. Mary and Marceil and Janice and I would meet in Lawrence for lunch serveral times before she became unable to continue. She was always the cheerful Mary and never complained. After suffering a decline for several years, she is at last in a better place and at peace. My condolences go out to her family. I feel grateful for having known Mary.

While at mass at St. John’s today, I heard of Mary’s passing. My sympathy and prayers for her sons and all the family. I saw her name on the prayers list recently, and hoped to find out more. May God’s strength, peace, and comfort be with you all. Mary was one of the best co-workers I ever had. Wish I would have kept up with her.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mary and I volunteered together at the hospital where she was always very kind and supportive to our patients. After she “retired” I was grateful for our continued friendship. Mary remained so positive with her faith and the love of her family giving her strength. In December at my last visit to see her at Village Shalom I saw Mary comfortable and content with her life and ready for future challenges that then came much too fast. Prayers and blessings.
