Graveside services for Mary Lile, 90, Lawrence will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. She died October 9, 2015 at Intergris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was born November 8, 1924 in Ray County, Missouri the daughter of Frank and May (Robinson) Burgess.
She married Olin H. Lile in 1945 in Independence, MO. He preceded her in death in 1983.
She worked for Rosie Riveter and E&E Manufacturer.
Survivors include a daughter Terry A. Moore of Lawrence, KS; two sons, Douglas Lile of Nevada, MO, Larry Lile of Edmond, OK; 21grandchildren and 45great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Randy, Carolyn, Gwendolyn and Patricia.
Memorials may be made in her name to Warren-McElwain to help with funeral costs and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
I am so truly for your loss. I am glad I was able to bring dad to visit Mary in June. The two of them really enjoyed being together. Again I am deeply sorry for everyones loss of their beloved Mary.
