Marian Elizabeth Thoennes

Marian Elizabeth Thoennes, 8 ½ months, of Eudora, KS, passed away peacefully in her mother’s arms Sunday, March 19, 2023 on the Feast of St. Joseph. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 3934 Washington, Kansas City, MO. The mass will be preceded by the recitation of the Rosary at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Eudora at 820 Birch Street. A funeral supper in the Parish Hall will be provided for all those attending.

Marian is survived by her parents, Francis and Anna, her siblings Benjamin, Fiona, Max and Ellanora. Maternal grandparents, Ilse and Kent Shire (Austria) and parental grandparents Dan and Betty Thoennes (Eudora).
