Aunt Margaret was one of those rare individuals who radiated joy and humor and kindness so intensely that you couldn’t help but want to be in her company. She epitomized all that was good in this world. Please give Grandma Baecker a big hug for me.

I grew up spending a lot of time at the Votaw home. Margaret was like a second mother to me. She loved her children and all her grandchildren. Sympathy to Marilyn, Gloria and Alan and the rest of the family. Rest in peace Margaret as you join the love of your life.

She was so kind to Judy and I. I never forgot all the turkey, mash taters, gravy and desserts on Thanksgiving day at her house! Did it for years ! And all the kids playing together and don’t remember anyone getting cross with another… My kids remember it as well. Oh yes–going hunting.

When we visited family in Lawrence, Margaret was the one that we always made time to visit, maybe due to the fact that she was a wonderful cook and always had space for everyone. Will truly miss her. We wish God’s Blessing on the family.
