    Dear Erna and Family,

Lyle was my detective commander when I was new to the detective business and he was always a strong advocate for all of his police officers. I was heartsick to learn of Lieutenant Sutton’s passing. Please know that Lyle and your entire family are in my heart and in my prayers. Dear Family and friend. I am deeply sorry for your loss! I had the pleasure of getting to know Lyle while working at the Bait and Tackle shop. We would drink coffee, joke around, laugh, and just chat. I always enjoyed seeing him come into the store and I mostly enjoyed hearing some of the many stories he had of the days when he was on the Police department. I always admired the love that radiated in his voice whenever he spoke of his wife. Rest in peace my dear friend.
