Leon was a great guy and will be missed. He always had a way of getting your attention, getting you to look at reality, and making you glad you talked to him. I found him to be both strong and gentle, as the situation called for, and I appreciated his honest opinions and encouragement.

We worked with Leon at DuPont. He was always full of information on about any subject we might discuss. Sometimes he would be kidding and sometimes he would be serious. The problem was….we never really knew whether his comments were meant to be funny or whether he was being straight with us. We have enjoyed having lunch with Leon at King Buffet when the DuPont Retirees got together once a month and we will all miss him. God Bless You, Leon. Our sympathies go out to the family.

Christine- I am so sorry to read of Leon’s passing. I so enjoyed our interviews and you both were such gracious hosts by offering me refreshments. One never knows whose lives you touch. I recall totally admiring the Jag, so much so that he let me sit behind the wheel – in the garage of course – just prior to the interview.
