I just now heard the news. So sorry to miss the visitation and funeral. My condolences to all his family and friends.

Leo was my neighbor for many years, back yard fence line. I also considered Leo a friend. We would talk over the fence, my house was 441 Maine Street. He galways ive me updates on his children and grand children. I watched them grow over the years. Leo was so very proud of his family! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU GUYS!!

I moved away from Lawrence some 8 years ago, yet Leo and I would visit on the phone, and exchange Christmas card. He would have me over for a lunch when I came back to work on my rental property. One thing I can say about him, he never held back. If there was a problem with any of my renters or about my home, he would voice his concerns. Not in a harsh way but always with his chuckle at the end, as in “Just saying John you might like to know”. I will miss your smile and voice Leo. Rest in Peace, I have no doubt you are in a better place with our savior Jesus Christ.

    John Ellis

I just read that Leo died. He was such a nice guy. My dad worked with him at LFl for a lot of years. He was always so good to my parents. I enjoyed running into him in the store and catching up. He will be missed.
