Lenice Sherene Love

A Celebration of Life for Lenice Sherene Love, 58, Eudora will be held from 2-4p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel. She died July 3, 2021 at LMH Health.

She was born December 20, 1963 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Gary Eugene and Glenice (Beroud) Schooler.

She graduated from Atchison High School in 1981. She also attended the University of Kansas and then Nursing School.

She was an LPN and worked at the Eudora Nursing home for a number of years. She also worked at other nursing homes.

She married Thomas Ray Erskin in Lawrence, KS on June 21, 1990. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Joshua Jacob (April Joann) Love, and family of Ottawa, KS, Jacob Mykel (Sarah Harris) and family of Wellsville; two brothers, Joe Anthony (Bonnie Dee) Schooler and family of Clever, MO, Robert F. Schooler (Wendy F. Erwin) and family of St. Joseph, MO.

    It was a joy to have our paths crossed. I met and worked with Lenice at Various health care places over the years then had the pleasure of being her nurse at LMH 4th rehab. I loved her smile and sense of humor. She will be missed. I know she is at peace now , it’s been a journey for her with health over past years.
