Joseph E. Bundy

Funeral service for Joseph E. Bundy, 41, Baltimore, Maryland will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 West 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Big Springs, KS. He died March 20, 2014 at his home.

Survivors include wife, Leslie D. Bundy; father, Bruce L. Bundy and his wife, Jeanie; mother, Ruth Ann Guess and her late husband, Doug; sister, Amy L. Lake and her husband, Steve; sister-in-law, Denise Vaughn and her husband, Skeet; nephew, Brady R. Lake; niece, Jordan Y. Lake; and also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to UMBC (University of Maryland at Baltimore) Foundation for the Joseph E. Bundy Memorial Scholarship Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary. The Scholarship Fund will be for students studying in Environmental Sciences at the University. Joe was to graduate in environmental sciences this May from the University.
