Joe Webster

 

 

Joe E. Webster “Bud”, 68, Lawrence died October 15, 2010 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 13, 1941 in Rockford, IL. He grew up in Diamond, MO with his parents Gene and Juanita Webster who precedes him in death.

He worked in Joplin, MO as a mechanic and auto parts salesman until moving into Kansas.  He owned and operated T.I.R.E. Company until retiring in 2007 due to ill health. You may also remember him from Joe’s Auto Service and/or J & H Auto.  He also was a manager for Midway Auto Supply and a service manager for K-Mart.  He had been in the mechanic field since he was 16 years old.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Heltzel and husband, Mark, Webb City, MO, Teresa Aldrich and husband, Rick, Lawrence; four sons, Joe Webster II, Mountain Grove MO, Matt Webster, Jake Webster and wife, Nichole, Mike Webster, all of Lawrence; 6 sisters, Marie Baker and husband, JR., Betty Brown and husband, Larry, Joyce Westfall and husband, Ed, Caroline Haddock, Nita Mae Weeks and husband, Gene, Judy Perez; one brother, Louis Webster and wife, Janet, 11 grandchildren, Christina, Samantha, Josh, Jeremy, Mandy, Kelsey, Vanessa, Karissa, Caitlynn, Diamond, Shyann; 2 great granddaughters, Jordyn and Kadyn.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanie Sinko; and one brother-in-law, Leonard Haddock. 

The family will greet friends 3 – 5 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

Graveside service for will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Stone Cemetery North of Diamond, Missouri.  

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Joe Webster Memorial Fund.

    So sorry to hear that Joe is gone. He was a blessing to Nissa and I, and will be missed by many.

    I have never had anyone ’fix’ my vehicles like Joe could! It was like he could just ’snap his finger’ and ’poof’ it was done. What a kind,gentleman! I will miss you Joe!
