Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Wurtz, 68, Eudora, KS, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora. The burial will take place at Eudora City Cemetery. Jerry passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at LMH Health.
Jerry was born on October 16, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Irvin and Mary (Millard) Wurtz.
Survivors include his daughters, Kimberly Jennings, Kristy Ditamore, siblings, J.B. (Jennie) Wurtz, Karen (Darren) Berry, Connie Wiesner, Loretta Wurtz-Hillyard, Gary Wurtz, Richard (Terri) Wurtz, grandchildren, Nicolette, Cody, Chloee, Caleb, Nyha, Dominic, and four great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Idella Baber, Robert Wurtz, Doug Wurtz, and Dennis Wurtz.
The family will greet friends, from 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora.
