Visitation for James P. Christianson, 85, Lawrence will be held from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Laurel Oak Cemetery in Windsor, Missouri. He passed away June 10, 2015 at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
James was born April 17, 1930 in Everest, KS the son of Peter Christianson and Mollie Amelia (Drimmel) Christianson.
Jim served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant. He was a member of the First Christian Church, VFW, American Legion – Dorsey Liberty Post #14, National Society of Tax Professionals and National Society of Tax Accountants.
He married Mary E. Thacker on June 28, 1953 in Windsor, MO. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include daughter, Janette Christianson Blevins (Gary) Lawrence; one son, James C. Christianson, Seattle, WA; and one grandchild, Heather Christianson.

So sorry to see of Jim’s passing. He did our taxes for many years
and we considered him a friend. Charlie always said Jim would know
how to handle whatever it was.
