James Tyree

Funeral services for James Tyree, 52, Eudora will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel. Burial will follow at Shawnee Mission Gardens.  He died Friday, September 17, 2010 in Overland Park, Kansas as a result of a construction accident. 

He was born on August 24, 1958 in Wichita, KS the son of Jack and Bethel (Mueller) Tyree. 

He graduated from Turner High School.  James was a Brick Mason and Foreman for Lindsey Masonry for over 25 years.  He was also a good friend to many.  James enjoyed boating and bowling. 

He married Theresa Simmons on June 15, 1979 in Kansas City, KS.  She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jennifer, of the home, Trisha, Eudora, Jackie, Lawrence; his parents, Baldwin City; one brother, Doug, Lawrence; one sister, Linda Land, Olathe and one grandson, Jay Muse.  

The family will greet friends 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel.
