    Hello to all,
I knew Mike as the brother of one of my best friends. We grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas and shared many a good time, including rock and roll concerts.
I am sorry I did not know he had cancer- I would have said good bye in person.
I do know he loved life- his family and friends. He will be remembered by many and missed by all.
    Take Care
    Sincerely,
    Louise Shorter

Chris, Jeff & John…I didn’t know your dad well…I just dropped off food for him & your mom…but…in that short time , he always greeted me at the door with a smile..told me that he loved my goulash & always left me feeling better for having chatted with him. Losing a parent is numbing…but I hope you find peace in fact that he was a GOOD man and kind to even a stranger like myself. I am blessed to have met your dad & am positive he lives on through the 3 of you. Hold your mom’s hand a lot and make sure she sees your face… Love & prayers..Cat

Diane … I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s death. We just now found out.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We are so sorry for his passing (as Jesus said ” he is only asleep”). He is missed. I was making plans for a visit during our high school reunion this year.

Diane, I am so sorry to hear the news of Mike’s passing. I just found out this morning, and I am so saddened. I was new to the trust business when I worked with Mike at the bank in Wichita, and he was always so helpful, nice and respectful to me during that time. I was pleased to be able to stay in contact after we both left and was glad to be able to work with him on a few things throughout the years that followed. He will be missed. May God bless and comfort you and your family.
