Funeral services for Gracie L. Morris, 87, Baldwin City, KS, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Heritage Baptist Church in Lawrence, KS. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lecompton, KS. Gracie passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Baldwin City Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Baldwin City.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

My deepest condolence to the family. Miss Gracie meant so much to me and she was so very loved by everyone who knew her. I loved her spirit and fun attitude! She was definitely one of my favorite people!
Gracie Morris lived up to her name. She truly was a graceful lady; an example of what a lady should aspire to be. She was a godly woman, very intelligent, and loved God and her church.
Aunt Gracie was always a sweet loving person whom I loved dearly!! Mom is going to miss their two hour phone chats she looked forward to those! She loved her sister so much. Till we meet again!
Aunt Gracie was a wonderful loving person. She loved her children greatly and she loved jesus. She’s was part of my extended family. She is greatly missed. This sweet lady left a great impression in my life. I played with her daughter Michelle as a child and Aunt Gracie made the only cheesecake I would eat. She was a great cook and her cheesecakes were awesome. Going to miss her.
