Glennett Aleene Corel

Glennett Aleene Corel, 68, passed away on May 4, 2024, at her home in Ottawa. She was born on January 7, 1956, in Lawrence, Kansas to Glenn and Velma Corel.

Glennett is proceeded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her cousins; Carla Harris, Hillary (Chris) Johnson, Calee Davenport, and Sage Johnson; Her dog, Turquoise Moon and cat, Kitty; close friends Anna and Fred Jester, Mary Ann and Richard Wieneman, and Edye Cable.

Special thank you to Hillary, Calee, Sage, Richard, Jerry, Jessica, Jaden, Sandra, Travis, David and Fred (James) for cleaning up the house so she could come home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Glennett’s name and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.

    I worked with Glennett for nearly 30 years. She wasn’t always a ray of sunshine but she was honest and never left you guessing where she stood on matters. She was dependable and smart. I respected her and appreciated her work. Condolences to Carla and the rest of the family.
