Sorry for your loss–what a life she lived–her pies were amazing but her down to earth advice and her thoughts on what was happening all the time I knew her in Lawrence and whenever I came back and saw her were very special.

Sorry for your loss. Your mother was a great lady and will be missed.
Rest well in Paradise Aunt Gladys. Will miss your smile and your wonderful home made rolls.
Burgess and George: You two are great sons. Helped your mom so much through the years. It’s especially amazing that she was able to remain in her own home til the end. I’m sure that’s where she was happiest. I always felt welcome when I had to collect for the newspapers I delivered back in the day in our neighborhood. I hope you feel God’s presence during your grieving. God bless and take care.
My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of such a wonderful and inspiring woman, mother and grandmother. I looked forward to interacting with Mrs. Rennels each day when we worked together at East Heights School. Her grandkids were also so invigorating and respectful individuals. Her frankness and insights were always much appreciated. She will certainly be missed by so many.
George,
So sorry for your loss, Prayer and strength to your family. With all or love
What a sweetheart❣️ I so enjoyed visiting with her at the farmer’s market. Her cherry pies and coffee cakes were the BEST.
Rud and I send love to all of you. God bless ????????????
Aunt Gladys, I will always remember the love you always showed us when we were kids playing in Clinton Park. The same love you showed us when we got grown. When Daddy died I remember you hugging me and telling me my Daddy was at peace and I didn’t understand what that meant. But now that I’m all grown up I know what you meant, and I know that you are at peace with my Lord, Moma and Daddy. See you all when I get there. I love you Aunt Gladys
So sorry to hear of Gladys passing- I remember her and the boys from Jennings Daylight Donuts. She had such a sweet spirit and was always so humble and kind. I look forward to seeing her again one day in heaven!
Burgess, I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Sometimes I would see her out in her yard as I would drive to work in the morning. She would always wave back when I waved. I don’t know if she remembered me as one of your classmates from Pinckney, but being the friendly person she was, she waved anyway. My deepest sympathy to your whole family.
George and Family
I’m so sorry to hear about her passing. Mom talked to Alta and she let me know of the sad news. I’m sending love and light to you.
