Memorial service for Evelyn Hallberg, 93, Lawrence will be held at 10 a.m. Mon., May 25th at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, L.I.N.K. (Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen), or Brandon Woods Employee Fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    Your wife and mother was a wonderful, sweet and welcoming friend when I moved to Brandon Woods. I always enjoyed visiting with her. Remember all your wonderful memories.

    I shall long remember Herman’s love story about his WW II military service.

    I served Evelyn at Brandon Woods. She was ALWAYS so sweet and nice. I will never forget her.
