Evelyn Reusch

Graveside service for Evelyn C. Reusch, 92, Tipton, MO will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday at Eudora Cemetery. She died June 5, 2013 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. She was born on July 14, 1920 in Herington, KS the daughter of Austin and Gladys (Schroth) Cale. Evelyn was a Secretary and Insurance Adjuster. She formerly worked for Universal Underwriters Insurance Group in Overland Park, KS for almost 20 years. She was a member of the Eudora United Methodist Church. She was active in church activities and a member of Martha’s Circle. She also taught adult Sunday school class for many years at the United Methodist Church. Evelyn attended Tuesday morning bible study at Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. She married Delbert E. Reusch on December 14, 1969 in Shawnee, KS. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1997. Survivors include daughter, Eva Vanderslice, Tipton, MO; son, Stephen Wilson, Shawnee, KS; step-daughter, Linda Broers, Wellsville, KS; brother, Clyde Hinman, Raymore, MO; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 1- 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Eudora United Methodist Church or Douglas County Visiting Nurses and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel.
