As a friend of Roberts family, I had the pleasure to see Gene and Pat on several occasions. Though I was not close to him, Gene made me feel right at home and always seemed to have a smile and a firm handshake. I am sorry for your loss.
    God Bless

Unfortunately, I learned of Gene’s passing just 2 weeks ago. I worked with Gene at the water department. In fact, I was the one who hired him. I never regretted that decision. I considered Gene a friend and enjoyed talking with him. There were times I would visit with him at Walmart. He missed Pat dearly and was sort of lost without her. The world is a little worse off without them around. May they rest in peace.
