A funeral service for Eric C. Breithaupt, 50, Lawrence, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2020 at Lawrence First Church of the Nazarene. The burial will follow the services at Worden Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Eric passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at his home.
Eric was born on February 8, 1970 in Lawrence, KS the son of Douglas and Jan (Janet) Hornberger Breithaupt.
He was a delivery driver and worked at the parts counter for AutoZone.
He married Julie Trowbridge on May 1, 2020 in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his mother, Jan Breithaupt; his two daughters, Alyssa Breithaupt, of the home, Rachel Van Zandt, Springfield, MO; two sons, Jacob Breithaupt, Eudora, KS, Alec Breithaupt, Lawrence; extended family throughout Lawrence and Baldwin City, KS. He was preceded in death by his father Douglas Breithaupt.
The family suggests memorials in his name to Health Care Access or to Lawrence First Church of the Nazarene and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
