    Dear Dave and family,
My family sends you our deepest sympathies and condolences. Liz was an important part of my life and I loved her very much. She will always be in a special corner of my heart. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, caring, and most genuine people I ever met and my heart aches to think that her life was so short on this earth. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Liz brought happiness to and left an indelible impression on everyone who knew her, and her spirit will live on in all of us forever. God bless your family in this difficult time and God bless your dear sister.

With love and sympathy for your loss,

Liz was my dear, dear friend for a long time! We hung tough together through our trying and awkward teen years. I remember our long, long walks as we would plan out our lives and complain about our parents. On our walks, we would take our change and buy candy and doritos at Raney drug store. Liz was beautiful inside and out. I am so saddened and will miss her much– loved calling her to talk.
David, you and yours are in my prayers and thoughts– know she loved, loved being an aunt and was so very proud and happy for you. I also know that she is in place now where there is no pain and where she is happy. Love always, Dawn Clark- Roach (one of the reasons I hyphenated my name was because of Liz 🙂

I am so sad to learn that Liz has died. Liz was always a caring friend. She was that person at Hillcrest Elementary school when we would roam around the playground and talk, and she was still that person when I last sat with her for a coffee in Lawrence. She remained a beautiful soul throughout her life. I will always remember her with complete affection. My condolences to your entire family for your loss.

Liz was one of the kindest and caring souls i have had the oppurtunity to know. Right until the end she was concerned about others, her cats, and not herself. She helped me greatly throughout my life schoolastically and as my dear friend. I owe my A in chemistry to her and Jesus. She sat with me six hours a day for a week tutoring me and telling me i could succeed. Her famous line when things got difficult, was just “kick butt.” I will never forget liz, she will be alive in the hearts of all who knew her. I love you liz, thank you for letting me know you and spend time with such a precious soul. Love your crazy blond friend jan may you find all the love and peace God can give you in his arms. You and willie, your cat who passes away right after you. +

I did not know Liz, but I knew of her. Everything I ever heard about Elizabeth was that she was intelligent, charming, and generous. She was a part of Trinity, and Trinity is a part of me. I am sad for a young life cut short. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who knew and loved her.

Please accept my condolences to the family. Losing a dear loved one is never easy and we know the days will be lonely without her. Please find comfort in God’s Word to help you through this time. John 5:28,29 reminds us that in the near future all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out. Psalms 37:29 says that we will reside forever here on earth including with the ones we lost. What a loving God we have. 1 John 4:8 God is LOVE!!

I am deeply saddened to hear of Liz’s passing. I knew Liz from LHS and she was my KU freshman chemistry lab partner in fall 1982. She totally got me through that course, and I will always remember her beautiful personality. Best regards to the family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family at this most difficult time. Please be assured that God will help you cope with the heavy weight of your loss for Psalms 68:19 says: “Blessed be Almighty God who daily carries the load for us.” As the days and weeks pass and as you return to life’s routine, may God’s comfort bring relief and may you feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends as you begin to recover gradually from the pain.

I wanted to cry silently, tears of regret. Regret for not keeping in touch, for something I had no control over. I did not want to regret again by staying silent. You were humble in who you were, but courageous in standing up for those who did not have the voice. You lived your life with integrity, even when others compromised theirs. You were compassion, a bodhisattva among us. With gratitude and love, Hao

    Dearest Liz,
I can’t believe you’re gone. You are truly missed sweet & funny Liz. Looking at your picture, I wish you were still here so we could talk about anything. I know you’re up in the heavens among angels. Please know that I miss you, your sweet personality, that twinkle in your eyes & your caring ways. Thank you for letting me use your computer at home when I needed to send an e-mail. You were truly a sweet caring friend. Thank you for taking my phone calls when I needed advice about all the nonsense I was going through at the time. You could have easily said you were busy, but you stayed on the phone with me even if I probably bored the hell out of you. Thank you Liz for being there for me, I’ll never forget you and your friendship. I thought of you as a very bright, beautiful lady & friend. Why you were taken from this life so soon, is heart breaking. I hope sonehow you know that you meant a lot to me, though I never had a chance to tell you. It’s just so extremely sad that you were taken away too soon, when I vividly picture you like it was yesterday. GOD Bless you Liz!! A smile from me to you…Yvonne
