I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Dennis’ passing. He was such a good friend to my family and meant so much to my parents, Wayne and Joanne Powell. He just visited Wayne last week and his visit was enjoyed. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My condolence to Joeanna and family. I am Dennis’ eye doctor and I always enjoyed when he came in for an eye exam. We talked more about heavy equipment than taking care of business. I will miss his conversations.

    Joeanna:
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Janet and I were blessed to see the two of you at our retirement party just before we left for Africa.
Dennis was a always ready to help me. Whether it was pulling me out of the snow drift around the corner, or unloading pallets of rock.
    He and I joked about
sharing the pond “rights” with the yearly goslings born along 1300 rd. I was always a challenge to find them at one of the two locations; and occasionally seeing the new goose families waddling down the road between the two ponds.
We will miss Dennis and Maggie as they drove past.
    Bill and Janet Muggy

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dennis. My thoughts are of the Burchett family. Dennis and Joeanna are wonderful people and were great neighbors many many years ago on Main Street in Eudora.

I just learned of Dennis’ passing. He will be missed deeply. Dennis was just at my home in August. He ran his backhoe on a project then. Dennis was a truly fine individual. I wish I had known him longer.
