Oh, D. How I have missed your smiling face, your quick wit, and your humor. I was brand new in the office, and you made me immediately feel as if I’d been there forever already. My deepest condolences to your family.
Such a lovely lady. Sassy too! We shared a lot of laughs during our time together at KU Endowment. She will be missed! I pray that wonderful memories will comfort her family during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathies for all the family. Sorry we cannot attend, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Prayers for your strength and comfort in the days to come.
My deepest sympathy to you all. Dee will be remembered for her laughter and spirited conversations with colleagues at work. I will also always remember her for her not so subtle cursing over the adding machine and the joy she brought to the workplace. May she Rest In Peace.
I worked with Deloris back in the early 70’s at Hallmark Cards . We had so much fun . such a sweet lady.. My thoughts are with her family and her friends. Rest in Peace ..

Dee was such a delight in the office! From accounting days to her “retired” days working in Imaging. She was always ready to assist with work-related questions, decorating the department for the special days, and quick with a smile and an opinionated retort! Grandchildren; oh she loved to tell us about her grandchildren!!
I am sorry for the loss your family is feeling with her stroke first and her death now. Blessings, as you recall your own special memories of Dee.
Dee and I shared an office for the last 7 years that she worked at KU Endowment. She was always so nice and I loved hearing her stories. She talked about her son, Kevin, and granddaughter, Devyn, all the time. They were her pride and joy! She was so proud of them and loved them very much. We spent a lot of time together and I enjoyed working with her and laughing together. She was like a grandma to me. My son, Clifton, loved coming to work and seeing Dee. She always had something to give him. She was always so thoughtful and caring. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
Kevin, I am so sorry for your loss.
