She will be greatly missed by many people. Her Christian faith and walk with the Lord were seen every day. She was an example for all of us of the true meaning of being a Christian. My deepest sympathy and prayers to your entire family.

Hello dear Debby’s family. I hadn’t seen Debby for several years, so knew nothing about her illness. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her battle with hemolytic anemia. I worked with Debby, Sarah and Mat at Allen Press and really enjoyed working and visiting with Debbie and her family there. Debby was easy to work with and as mentioned by others, a very encouraging and helpful person. About 4 years ago she volunteered to help get ready for an estate sale of my best friend Rose’s property, who was another Allen Press employee. I really appreciated her help after already working a full day. We need more like her in this world! My condolences to all, especially to Sarah, Mat and daughter.
Many prayers are with you, Debby’s family! I worshipped with her many years at Mustard Seed Church, attended Bible studies with her, and treasured her sweet spirit and kind nature. She had a servant’s heart toward her family and church family that is treasured and will be sorely missed! May God genuinely comfort you in your sorrow and make you fully aware of the joy and peace only He can offer at times like these!
Sending my prayers and deep condolences to all of your family.

I just want to send my condolences to the entire family. I worked with Debbie at Allen Press and she always had a way to make people smile! An angel in heaven!
Debby was one of the most loving and giving people I have ever had the honor of knowing. She was a wonderful example of what a Christian should be. I worked next to her for many years at Allen Press and I always looked forward to seeing her and all of her family there. Heaven has a new angel. I miss you, Debby, so much.
Sarah, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was so sweet, caring, and gentle. I was thinking about the old neighborhood and you guys the other day. Sending prayers for you and your family.
Debby was always kind, warm, gentle, and strong in her walk with Christ. She loved the Lord and loved people. While we knew her from The Mustard Seed we even had the pleasure of being her neighbor in Pinetree Townhomes the last several years and seeing her active in that community as well. Even though we moved out of Pinetree a few months ago we will still miss seeing her face on our street. Blessings and peace to the rest of her family.
I am saddened to hear of Debby’s passing. She and I worked together at Allen Press for several years, and she was always kind and patient – making any day just that much brighter.
I am so saddened to hear about Debbie’s passing! I have known Debbie and her family for many years. Debbie and I coached our daughters, Sarah and Kellee, softball team when they were in elementary school. Debbie was a wonderful lady who had such a beautiful smile! Although I have not seen her recently, I would always enjoy visiting with her whenever I would see her. All of her family and friends will miss her very much!! Sending prayers to all of Debbie’s children, grandchildren, and family!!!
Dear Debbie’s children,
I had not seen Debbie in many years as I have moved away from Kansas, but I know how much she loved you and I can only imagine how much you and her grandchildren will miss her. She is the ne more reason to long for heaven.
I had the opportunity to work with her at the Boys and Girls Club. She was a wonderful asset and a great co-staff!
Debby brought so much joy to the children she worked with at the Boys and Girls Club. I had the opportunity to work with her at Kennedy Elementary this past Spring and was shocked to hear of her passing. She will be deeply missed in the Lawrence community.
What a beautiful picture history of Debby. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Although our lives have not crossed often, we are aware of the love and bond between our brother-in-law, Jim and his sister. Viewing the video we can see how fortunate Debby was. She was loved by many and loved being around them. Our thoughts are with you, so sorry for your loss.
