Mike and I have known Lindy since Nikki was 4 or 5. We all have so many great memories of us all together for many occasions. David came to our house several times to visit, but one memory that sticks out is back in his drinking days. The whole family was on the way to Thanksgiving dinner in St Paul and stopped for a drink. Lindy brought her famous braunschweiger dip and we all had a cocktail. David was always happy around family and friends and always made us laugh! Hard to believe it! He was so young. But he will live on in our hearts just like his mama. God bless all the family. I have no doubt that you will all survive and stay strong!

On behalf of the Environmental Consortium, losing Dave is a huge loss to all responders. He has been such a huge help to the industry insofar as making sure that people are property trained, educated and we will miss him terribly. Several of our folks have been friends with Dave for many many years and they are feeling and mourning the loss of their very dear friend. May God shine His many blessings on Dave’s family and keep them enfolded in His loving arms now and throughout the days and years to come.

  12. Jay Redlin on July 10, 2020 at 8:31 pm

    Jay Redlin
Growing up David was more like a brother to me than a cousin. Family gatherings were an opportunity for us to clown around, wrestle, and get in trouble most of the time.
We went our separate ways as adults and thanks to Facebook we learned about each other’s lives and even talked on the phone for the first time in 50 years. It was good to see him very happy and with his loving family.

    Rest in Peace my brother

    Jay

I don’t even know how to start. He was a wonderful friend and filled my life with as much gladness as he is now filling it with sadness. He will be remembered for his kindness and caring, his ability to make everyone feel included but most of all his awesome ability to play the “air guitar”. He was loved and respected by so many people and he will continue to be a part of my life through my cherished memories. I love and miss you Super – Julie-Julie-Julie

    Dear Lisa and Nicklaus,
We have a huge hole in our office from the place Dave held. Everybody enjoyed sharing our lives together. It was such a joy seeing his smiling face heading down the hall. May God comfort you with the knowledge He is holding Dave right now, no more sorrows or pain and keep you in his care. We’ll all miss him.

    Lisa,
I’m sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I’m not sure who gave him the name “Super”, maybe it was himself, but I must say is was so appropriate. Super in so many ways.
