I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Charlotte’s passing. I am grateful for the modest correspondence that we shared over the years. I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to thank her for her genealogy research. I cherish the research that she shared with me. I can only surmise what an immense undertaking that was. I know her compilations will live on in posterity. Some of the fondest memories from my childhood were the family parties she hosted because they were filled with laughter and love. Cindy, Mike, Andy, Nichole, Justin, and Gavin; my family and I send our condolences to you all.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the Muckey family, especially Cynthia with whom I worked so many years. I love Charlotte’s last wish to be buried simply as in pioneer days. Rest in peace, Charlotte, and God be with the Muckey family.
Sending condolences to the Muckey family. I worked with Mike for many years at the County and the pleasure of working with Mr. Muckey at KU. Prayers sent to the family.
To the family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. I remember you mom well, you were my neighbors for years on Tennessee Street.
To Cindy, Mike, and Andy- with love for your Mother in my heart, I wish Peace for all of you. What tremendous support you gave your parents, especially Charlotte over the last few years when she started to fail. My husband Chuck ( who was Charlotte’s nephew) would always tease Charlotte that she was his “favorite” Aunt. And she would retort-yes because I am the only one left! We were fortunate that our travels allowed us to see her several times over the past few years. God bless her and her family.
Cindy-I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Thinking of you and your family.
Cyndi, Andy & Mike, I am very sorry for your loss. You stayed by your mother’s side for many years as she lived her last years and I know she appreciated the love your shared. Blessings to you and your continued healing.
Cindy, Linda and I are so sorry for your loss of you mother. Words can’t express how you are feeling. She will be at home with her favorite nephew.
Stanley and Linda Hayden
I am so sorry to just learn this evening of Charlotte’s passing. We went to the same Sunday school/church for several years. She will be missed.
Cindy,
So sorry for your loss. It’s not easy to lose a parent, no matter what age they are. I will keep you in my prayers. Take care.
Sincerely, Terry Tuckwin
I didn’t get to know Aunt Charlotte, but what I knew of her was her honesty.. She didn’t let people stop her. I’m living Missouri and I don’t drive. I have missed a lot. My condolences to my family and friends.
