My heart goes out to your family and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I haven’t seen Charlene in many years but will always remember her kindness opening her home to me. I stayed many nights with Sherry and tagged along to church. We forever miss our Mom but she stays in our hearts always.

We had moved innext door to Herb just a few months before he lost his wife,. Then we met Charlene, his square dancing partner.
She was quite the seamstress and made a number , if not all, of their outfits. We called them costumes. But she had them for all the holidays and times of the year. We lived through the years of Herb’s putting green grass – his pride and joy and suffered with Charlene when he had his accident through the garage and neighbors fence and really banged himself up good. When he passed, we took a special interest in checking in on Charlene. When it snowed, I made sure the driveway was cleared and and at least a path from her door to the mailbox. We also brought our dog , Kodi, over to visit her and she got quite a kick out of him jumping for the popcorn she had stashed for him in the end table next to her chair. Neighbors up and down Stone Meadows new her as she would go out around 730 or so and sit in her web chair and wave good morning to all the neighbors going to work. She shared pictures of all of you and her need to satisfy all of you by being in the pictures with you. She knew it was important to you. And you all knew how important it was to her to hold all the new little ones. She was a special lady and a great neighbor.
We miss her and hope all the fond memories of her in your lives give you peace knowing she’s in God’s Hand now.
God’s perfect peace to all of you.
