Marcella, I just learned of Carl’s passing. I haven’t seen either of you in years. I am so sad I let time pass and not reached out. I don’t know if you know this but Carl was my first ever date! We went bowling. Gee, the things you remember. I am so sorry for your loss and know you will find comfort in your memories. Bless and and your family.

    Marcie and family,

I am so sorry to learn of Carl’s passing. I enjoyed our visits when he volunteered, in the St. John parish office, when Sr. Marcella was out of the office.

He will be missed by many, but not forgotten. Hold the precious memories close to your heart. May God bless you and grant you peace.

    Marcia,
We send our condolences to you and your family. Carl’s mother and my mother, Annabelle Holmes Freese were best friends growing up in Eudora. We visited Violet and Alden many times when they lived in Oxnard and Carl as well until he moved back to Kansas for his last year of high school.

I remember that you and Carl took care of his parents as they got older. Blessings, love and peace to all of you at this sad time.

    Sincerely, Peggy Freese Fitzgerald
