Buffy Boyd-Murphy

Memorial service for Buffy Ann Boyd-Murphy, 53, Gardner will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Warren- McElwain in Lawrence, KS. The family will greet friends prior from 2pm until service time on Saturday at the mortuary. 

Buffy was born on March 21, 1970 in Lawrence, the daughter of Charles R. Boyd and Cheryl L. Reynolds (Boyd).

She was a self employed entrepreneur and artisan.

Buffy was an awesome auntie, dog mom and foster mom. She enjoyed creating vintage clothing, jewelry and unique pieces of furniture from antiques. She was owner/designer of an on-line boutique and retail space – NOUVEAU BELLA. 

Survivors include her mother, Cheryl Reynolds; stepfather, Daryl Reynolds; sister, Casey Newcome; brother-in-law, Anthony Newcome and her three amazing nieces – Maelin, Malea, and Marah. And many more aunts, uncles and cousins in the Reynolds’ and Boyd families. 

The family suggests memorials in Buffy’s name to: The National Canine Cancer Foundation and Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) and they may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 West 13th Street, Lawrence, KS.
