Brad Klug

Brad Klug 36, Lawrence, Kansas passed peacefully Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Brad is survived by his father and mother and brother, Jared.

Brad was adopted in 1987 by Susan and Mark Klug in Wichita, Kansas.

Brad loved his kitties(Nova and Lumina), and board games (including chess), food and travel shows, stocks, playing pranks, science, and entertainment both from the movie and social networks. Brad searched the various sources in planning our travel (both commercial and camping),food and entertainment options for some of our primary destinations of Australia, Alaska, Japan and Thailand, but mainly Japan. Brad was truly engaged in studing and learning the Japanese culture and language. Brad earned the Eagle Scout distinguished title after years of work involving both physical and academic accomplishments. I believe the thing that most kept Brad’s interest in the scouting community was both his desire to better himself and those around him. One of the more challenging interests Brad focused on was his engagement in the competitive competition Olympic weightlifting arena. Brad spent endless hours training and preparing for each competition. Brad had a beautiful voice. He could match tone and range of numerous video recording artist in perfect harmony. Brad enjoyed computer technology and communications working several years designing, building and setting up systems and networks. Brad was a student who loved history and was offered a college tuition in history study. However, he opted instead to train and worked in the medical field. Brad was intrigued with stocks not so much with their business interdependence but instead with their market reaction. He worked to understand their price change, of which I reminded him it’s really open to unpredictable manipulation. Brad was adopted and raised catholic as a baby. Brad was less interested in researching his birth parents Native American origins (which explains his ability to sense nature events, but truly valued his adopted families. Brad looked forward to his cousins interactions during annual celebrations, including game time! We truly miss Brad’s disarming nature and the way he always looked to make you smile, we know Jesus has a Great new scout/disciple added to his heavenly kingdom and pray Brad please help each of us to join you in Jesus Heavenly Kingdom.

Brad’s celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Saint John Catholic Parish Lawrence Kansas or may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
